R&D position

Publicerad 2017-06-01

Gnothis uses spectroscopic methods to analyse single molecules. The founder of Gnothis, Professor Rudolf Rigler, is one of the pioneers within the field of single-molecule analysis. In 1974, he and collaborators at the Karolinska Institute published one of the first descriptions of the method Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS). Starting from FCS, Gnothis has taken this method further by developing completely new and improved proprietary methods and technologies that support applications relevant to drug development, medical diagnosis and therapy. Gnothis has developed a proprietary application for absolute and direct DNA-sequencing and it provides, by definition, the most accurate, sensitive and reproducible method for DNA-analysis when compared to other existing methods.

Arbetsuppgifter
In preparation of the commercialisation of the new DNA-sequencing Gnothis is looking to recruit two new R&D associates that will work closely with the existing R&D team to add new energy, execute the R&D towards set goals and deliver results on set deadlines.

Tasks:

• Execute R&D towards set goals
• Problem solving
• Deliver results on set deadlines
• Customer meetings

Kvalifikationer
We are looking for a solid and highly intelligent achiever, who wants to play a central role in the commercialisation of the product portfolio and has a strong interest within R&D. Preferably this person also has a strong track record showing additional commitment with individual projects or sports on a demanding level parallel to their studies. In addition, this person needs to be creative, eager to take on new challenges and fully committed to embark on this journey together with the rest of the team.
